Environment Control
If you are thinking of doing any landscape or construction work, you will need to check out the rules of the Environmental Control Committee, a.k.a. the ECC. This committee is responsible for approving construction plans, requests for tree removal, exterior paint or stain color, or landscape projects, and for enforcing any related rules and regulations.
Remember that failure to comply with OWL rules and regulations may result in a fine being assessed by the OWL Board of Directors. Ignorance of OWL rules is not an acceptable excuse.

Rules for your Contractor

Wetlands Protection Act
The Towns of Sandisfield and Otis Conservation Commissions are governed by the laws of the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act.
Building Submittal Form
You are required to print out and submit this form for any construction or landscaping job costing $10,000 or more.
W-9
When a bond is required per the Building Submittal Form above, the bank requires a W-9 form accompany the check, in order to properly report the interest.
Bond Release
In order to get your bond back, you should fill out this form when all work is properly completed.
Tree Removal Request
Please fill out this form when you need to have a tree removed on your property. The Club will check it out and get back to you with a response. PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL TREES YOU ARE REQUESTING TO BE REMOVED ARE MARKED. This form will automatically fill in your Name and OWL address. Thank you.
